Dentures

Losing your natural teeth can make chewing, speaking, and moving through life difficult.  Dentures can help you restore the look and function of your smile to satisfy both aesthetic and functional dental needs. Dentistry at The Heights offers three different denture options for Brooklyn, NY, patients looking to replace missing teeth.

What Are Dentures?

/

A denture is a customized dental appliance designed to replace a partial or full arch of missing natural teeth and provide support for your cheeks and lips.

We Offer Three Types of Dentures

Complete Dentures

Traditional complete dentures are an affordable option to replace all your upper or lower teeth. Your custom-made denture will have a gum-colored acrylic base held in place with suction and a mild adhesive, and can be easily removed for cleaning. Your dentures will be customized for an impeccable fit and to match the natural look of your smile.

Partial Dentures

Partial dentures fill in the gaps from missing teeth. This prosthetic is supported by metal clasps that each fit around a healthy remaining tooth or dental crown. As with full dentures, your dentist will design your partial denture with a gum-colored acrylic base to fit well and match your smile.

Implant-Supported Dentures

Implant-supported dentures are permanently affixed in your mouth. These stable restorations attach to the jawbone with dental implants, which act as artificial tooth roots. Once your jaw has healed, your dentist will attach your customized denture. An implant-supported prosthetic will not slip out of place when you speak, laugh, or chew.
